Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets mandatory rules for using scurt.icu (the “Platform”),
operated by ANDIMA W.P. Solutions SRL (the “Operator”).
This AUP supplements the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and the
Cookie Policy. In case of conflict, the Terms and Conditions prevail.
1. General principles
The Platform may be used only for lawful purposes and in line with good-faith practices. Users are solely
responsible for the content and destinations (links, pages, materials) associated with QR codes and/or
shortened links generated or managed via the Platform.
2. Prohibited use (non-exhaustive list)
You must not use the Platform for:
2.1 Fraud, deception, and misleading practices
- phishing, scams, fraud, pyramid schemes, or any deceptive activities;
- unlawful data collection (e.g., credential harvesting, impersonation);
- redirects intended to mislead users or conceal the real destination;
- promotion of illegal or counterfeit products/services.
2.2 Illegal, harmful, or minors-inappropriate content
- illegal, obscene, violent, extremist, or pornographic content;
- content that is harmful or inappropriate for minors, or exploits minors in any form;
- content promoting self-harm, violence, or dangerous activities.
2.3 Discrimination, hate, and harassment
- discrimination on any legally protected ground;
- hate speech, harassment, threats, doxxing;
- content promoting violence against individuals or groups.
2.4 Intellectual property infringement
- copyright, trademark, design, or patent infringement;
- unauthorized distribution of protected content or pirated materials.
2.5 Malware, technical abuse, and attacks
- distributing or promoting malware, viruses, trojans, ransomware;
- scanning, exploiting, or attacking systems or infrastructure;
- attempting to bypass security measures;
- abusive automation (e.g., aggressive scraping, request flooding, brute force).
2.6 Spam and abusive use
- spam, unsolicited messaging, or campaigns violating laws or third-party platform rules;
- mass generation of QR codes/links for abusive purposes;
- use that degrades other users’ experience or service availability.
2.7 Violations of law
Any use that violates Romanian law, EU law, or other applicable laws (depending on the user’s location and the
intended audience) is prohibited.
3. Enforcement and sanctions
If you breach this AUP, breach the Terms, or if there is a reasonable suspicion of prohibited/illegal activity,
the Operator may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, take one or more actions:
- temporarily suspend the account;
- permanently terminate the account;
- disable, block, or delete associated QR codes and/or links;
- limit features or traffic;
- request additional information for verification (e.g., clarification about a link destination).
3.1 No refunds
Where enforcement actions are taken due to a violation, no refunds will be granted for any paid
subscription fees, in whole or in part, as stated in the Terms and Conditions.
4. Cooperation with authorities and third parties
In severe cases or where required by law, the Operator may cooperate with competent authorities and provide relevant
information in accordance with applicable law. The Operator may also respond to legitimate third-party requests
(e.g., IP infringement notices) under internal procedures.
5. Reporting abuse
If you believe a QR code or link generated via the Platform violates this AUP, please report it using the contact
details displayed on the website and include as much relevant information as possible.
6. Changes
The Operator may update this AUP from time to time. The version published on the Platform is the current version.
